Orders:
When will my order ship?
Orders that are in stock will be processed and shipped within 1-2 business days. In store pick up orders will be processed within 24 hours for collection at our Burleigh Heads, Gold Coast studio. Please note this excludes sale periods.
How will my order be packaged?
All orders are carefully packaged in an SRLA dust bag and securely placed in a recyclable cardboard box.
The item I want is out of stock?
If the item you are wanting is out of stock, please click the ‘email when in stock’ button on the product page. You will be notified as soon as the piece is available to purchase again.
What does pre-order mean?
At times, select items will be available for pre-order on our website. This means the stock has not yet arrived, but you can secure your item in advance. Pre-order items will be clearly marked in the product name, with an estimated shipping date provided in the product description. Please note that once a pre-order is placed, it cannot be canceled.
Do you ship to PO. Boxes?
Yes we do ship to PO boxes.
How can I track my order?
Once your SRLA order has been shipped you will receive your tracking number in an email where you can check the status of your order.
Will I need to pay Custom & Duties tax?
International orders may be subject to import taxes and duties, which vary by country. SRLA is not responsible for any additional charges incurred. If your parcel is returned to us due to unpaid customs fees, a restocking or reshipping fee may apply. Please note that original shipping costs are non-refundable. If your parcel is not returned to us, we are unable to offer a refund for your order.
What happens if the miss the delivery?
For Australian shipments, your order will be delivered to your local Australia Post office and can be collected with photographic identification.
For international shipments, once your order arrives in your country, it will be transferred to your local postal provider. It is the customer’s responsibility to track the order using the provided tracking number. Please note that after the transfer, you may need to use your local postal service's website—for example, USPS for US orders, Royal Mail for UK orders, Canada Post for Canadian orders, etc.
What happens if I receive the wrong item or am missing items?
First, please remove all items from your box, including those inside the dust bag. If you have received an incorrect item or are missing something from your order, please email us at hello@srla.com with photos of everything you received, including all packaging. Our team will review your case and provide further instructions on how to proceed.

Do you offer free shipping?
Due to the size and weight of our SRLA chests, we currently do not offer an free shipping options.
Will I have to sign for my order?
Our parcels are shipped with Australia Post Safe Drop enabled, allowing your order to be left in a secure location if deemed suitable by the delivery driver. If no safe place is available, your parcel will be taken to the nearest Australia Post office for collection.
If you prefer to request a signature on delivery or have your parcel left unattended, please contact our team at hello@srla.co.
For international deliveries, final delivery is at the discretion of the local postal service in your destination country.
Shipping Terms & Conditions
- SRLA is not responsible for incorrect addresses please ensure you check all entered information at checkout.
- SRLA is not responsible for parcels that are lost or damaged in transit.
- SRLA is not responsible for the cost of shipping on any returns.
- SRLA will only reimburse shipping on a faulty item up to $25 AUD.
- SRLA holds the right to charge a restocking fee of up to 20% if for some reason the order is cancelled or returned.
Returns:
Do you accept returns?
We accept returns within 7 days of receiving your order, for either a refund or gift card. Please mail us at hello@srla.co
Return Conditions:
- Items must be returned in original packaging, unmarked and undamaged
- Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility
- Refunds will be less the original shipping cost
Return to Sender:
If your order is returned to sender, re-shipping costs are to be paid by the customer. If you choose not to reship, a $60 AUD restocking fee will apply.
Jewellery Chests:
How do I care for the jewellery chest?
All SRLA Jewellery chests are crafted by hand, please read below to learn how to best care for your chest:
- To clean, wipe your chest down with a dry, soft cloth
- Avoid any liquids on your chest
- Avoid any harsh chemicals / sprays / cleaning agents
- Avoid placing your chest on or near rough surfaces
- Keep your chest out of direct sunlight
- Avoid placing your chest in humid rooms
- Use a small lint roller to clean the interior lining of your chest
- Avoid slamming your chest lid
- Avoid bending the chest lid back as this could compromise your hinge function
- The piano lacquer is delicate so avoid dropping your box
What is the jewellery chest made out of?
Our chests are crafted from wood with a piano lacquer finish.
What are the chest dimensions & weight?
External chest measurements: 32.5cm L x 17 cm W x 12.2 D. I
Internal chest measurements: 28cm and the inner diameter of the semi-oval inserts is 12.5cm

Does the SRLA Jewellery Chest have a scent when first opened?
Our SRLA Jewellery Chests are meticulously crafted using high-quality materials, including specialised glues and premium paint finishes, to ensure their durability and refined craftsmanship. Upon first opening, you may notice a subtle scent. This is a normal and temporary result of the artisanal finishing process used to protect and preserve the chest's quality.
To allow the scent to naturally dissipate, we recommend placing your jewellery chest in a well-ventilated space for a few days. Once aired, it will retain only its crafted character, ready to house your cherished pieces.
